Tea of Love - Mondays With Maya

Hello, lovers!

I'm still on a love vibe and I've got an awesome love-infused tea for you to make! 

Love Tea - Mondays With Maya Fiennes


360 ml (1½ cup ) filtered water
5cm piece of fresh root ginger peeled and quartered
2 tablespoons hibiscus flowers
1½ teaspoons hawthorn berries
½ tablespoon rose water
1½ teaspoon raw honey or agave syrup


Put the ginger in a pan with the water. Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the hibiscus flowers and hawthorn berries. Leave to stand for a minimum of 5 minutes. Stir in the rose water and add honey or agave syrup to sweeten. Serve warm or chilled.

Extra tips:

While making this tea, I want you to pay attention to the feelings of love, that you're really feeling the love, thinking of love and opening the heart, loving what you're making, loving the taste of the tea, of all the ingredients, that you're paying attention to everything that you love, and thinking of all the elements of love.

Hawthorn berries are great for the cardiovascular system. Keep thinking of love and opening the heart, and loving that moment. For an extra boost, put a little bit of rose oil around the sternum.
