Sat nam, friends!
This week I want you all to do a little light reading that will incite your mind and soothe your soul.
The Alchemist is a story about a young shepherd who travels from his homeland in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of a treasure buried in the Pyramids. No one knows what the treasure is, or if Santiago will be able to surmount the obstacles along the way. But what starts out as a journey to find worldly goods turns into a discovery of the treasure found within.
The Alchemist has become a world-wide phenomenon. It has sold more than 83 million copies, and is one of the best-selling books in history. It has been translated into 81 different languages and has won the Guinness World Record for most translated book by a living author. The book has a major following around the world including celebrities such as Will Smith, Madonna, Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and Pharrell Williams, who said that the book had changed his life.
The best thing for me about this book is that every time you read it, it will teach you what you need to know at that particular time in your life. You can get The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho on Amazon.
I'm positive you will enjoy it as much as I do every time I read it.
