Meditation For Stress Release (Week 4 of 5) - Meditation With Maya

Hello and welcome to week 4 of the Meditation With Maya 5-week program.

Today we're de-stressing... Something that a lot of people are plagued with is stress. It's hard to find someone who is not stressed, and if stress is something that you personally also struggle with, here is a little something you can do.

Meditation For Stress Release

How to do it:

meditation with maya fiennes week 4

Put your hands together and press the fingertips together firmly.

Fix your eyes on the tip of the nose.

Create the following breath pattern:

  • INHALE smoothly and deeply through the nose
  • EXHALE through rounded lips in 8 equal strokes
  • On each exhale, pull the navel point IN sharply.

Start with 3 minutes and build it up to 11 minutes.

The equal pressure of the fingers creates balance between the two hemispheres of the brain. The deep inhale gives endurance and calmness. The exhale through the mouth stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system which releases the stress. The strokes of the exhale stimulates the pituitary gland to optimize your intuition.

Let me know how you found this exercise! I love hearing from you.

See you next week for the final week of this 5-week meditation program.

    Love of love
