Meditation For Overcoming Fear (Week 5 of 5) - Meditation With Maya

Hello again friends

This is the final week of the 5-week Meditation With Maya program which has been targeting problem areas we may have in our lives with meditation. This week, we're dealing with overcoming fear. 

Meditation For Overcoming Fear

In life, we all have things that we fear, and a certain amount of fear is healthy, but when fear takes over our lives, we need to do something about it. Here is a meditation exercise to do if you want to overcome your fears.

The eyelids should be 1/10th open, with the eyes focused on the Brow point.

Position the hands as in the photo.

Follow the following breath pattern:

-INHALE deeply and quickly

-EXHALE immediately, powerfully and completely

-HOLD the breath OUT for a count of 26.

As you count, visualize the energy going up the spine, vertebrae by vertebrae, from the bottom of the spine all the way to the top of the spine.

Continue like so for 3 minutes. 

If you practice this every day for 40 days, you will overcome fear and become stable and steady.
