Hi there, friends!
These past few weeks at my "Yoga For Real Life" teacher training in Greece has been just awesome, but the weather has been playing up a bit. One day it's perfectly sunny and the next it could be pouring down with rain! We're not complaining, though! We even went swimming in the sea in the rain! (Catch up with what we've been up to, here.) But I've been getting my students to do this little Kundalini breathing technique for an extra boost of energy to make sure that they don't come down with a cold!
Kundalini Breathing Tip For When You're Catching a Cold - Mondays With Maya
How to do it:
- Put your lips together like you are sucking on an invisible straw.
- Inhale and exhale through the mouth.
- You may feel a little hyperventilated but then you will feel a rush of energy!
- Try it for as long as it feels comfortable, 1 minute, 3 or even 11!
I always feel pumped full of energy after I do this! Try it and let me know how you get on!
For an extra boost of energy, try my online yoga class, How To Be More Energetic. It's a complete Kundalini workout to make sure our cells are free of toxins and open to receive goodness and feel-good chemicals which will give us more energy. Here's the first 15 minutes to get you started!
Let me know how you got on or if you have any other energy boosting tricks that work for you! I love to hear from you!
Sat nam,
