I'm often asked what Kundalini meditation is. For those who are not familiar, here is a short breakdown of what it is, how we use it and what we use it for!
Kundalini Meditation is a combination of three steps.
We use specific breaths for the specific issue we are trying to tackle, to wake up the chakras, and wake you up but at the same time calm the mind.
We chant a specific mantra, again depending on which issue we are trying to tackle. This stimulates the endocrine system so that the glands start to secrete good hormones, which then opens the door and leaves you much calmer to enjoy your meditation.
The last step is the actual meditation which is just remaining still and quiet in a seated position, eyes closed, focusing on the breath, and keeping the mind quiet and still.
A wonderful early morning Kundalini Meditation session on the beach with the students from the 2017 teacher training.
My Youtube channel is full of short Kundalini meditations for you to try, covering all different issues from lack of energy to boosting the immune system. Give them a try and let me know how you get on!
Have a blessed week!
