Sat nam!
Are you a coffee lover? Personally, that fresh coffee smell first thing in the morning is one of my favorite things. A lot of yogis abstain from coffee, but I'm not one of them. I love a good cup of coffee. In moderation, of course. I only have one a day, but I like to experiment with it, and switch it up a bit! Here's how I like to make mine.
Kundalini Coffee - Nutrition With Maya
Coffee is very acidic but if you try my little coffee recipe, it makes the beverage much more alkaline and gives it good fats and good properties, as well as making it delicious! Here's how you make it.
Ingredients:
- 1 raw egg
- dash of raw milk
- 1 tbsp raw cream
- brown sugar to taste
Method:
- Grind the coffee and put in the hot water.
- In a blender, put in the egg, raw cream, raw milk, and sugar.
- Add the blended mixture to your coffee. And that's it! You can also add your own little twists to it, like cinnamon, or cardamon or anything you like to give it a little more alkaline properties.
For something a little different, you have to try my rainy day Kundalini coffee recipe. It's easy but it warms the soul! It's my favorite comfort drink!
Adding the extra ingredients to the coffee helps keep the coffee alkaline and doesn't give you a crash. Instead, it gives you more energy for around 6 hours. Here's how you make it:
Ingredients:
- 1tsp raw butter
- cardamon
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
Method:
- Grind the coffee and put in the hot water.
- Stir in the raw butter until melted.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients, about half a teaspoon of each one.
Try it and let me know how you like it! For me, it's better than the stuff you buy at your local coffee shop! How do you like to drink yours?
Wishing you a great week!
