Hello friends (especially my female ones),
Today we're talking again about that dreaded "M" word... Menopause! Here is some advice that I wish I knew before I headed straight into my menopausal years.
People who don't have any problems in their menopausal years have looked after themselves and their bodies in their pre-menopausal years. The main factor in why we can feel rough during menopause, are the hormone glands - the adrenals, the thyroid and the pituitary glands. If we have over-worked ourselves, if we are over-achievers, constantly stressed, etc., these glands have been exhausted and are now not working properly. Now that you are around 50, you don't have any reserve, your adrenals are not working, all the glands are not working anymore because they're overworked. It's important to listen to our bodies and to look after our adrenals. One of the main things you can do to clear the adrenals... is relax! But there is a lot more you can do too. I'll be posting more information about adrenals and clearing them in the weeks to come.
