5-Day Intermittent Fasting - Nutrition with Maya

5-Day Intermittent Fasting - Nutrition with Maya

Hello, everyone!

So, guess what? I'm doing another detox fast! I know, you think I'm crazy! But I truly do feel awesome at the end of them. (If you missed my previous detox fasts, check out my grapefruit cleanse, and my 4-day water fast detox to see what I let myself in for!) This time, I decided to follow the ProLon intermittent fasting diet.

"The ProLon Fasting Mimicking Diet is considered by many thought leaders the biggest breakthrough in nutrition of this Century. ProLon is a natural, plant-based diet where users consume a proprietary blend of high-quality foods and nutrients that allow the body to go into, and get the benefits of, “Fasting Mode”. This is how the ‘Fasting Mimicking’ invention came to be."

So here's hoping I'll enjoy this fast a little better than my last ones, because at least I will be having a little something-something every so often to chase away the hunger pangs! I've video-journaled every day so you can see my journey and then decide whether this is something you'll also like to do, too!

The Day After the ProLon Intermittent Fast

As always after my detox fasts (and why I keep doing them every so often), I feel great! This is definitely something I recommend if you can handle it. It's like pressing the reset button and starting your system over again. I feel lighter, more alert, and instead of wanting to gorge on food, I just have the urge to eat light and healthy!

If you try it, let me know how you get on! I'd love to hear from other fellow intermittent fasters!
